Coromandel is a community of condos, manor homes, and town homes, located in Deerfield, Illinois on Waukegan Road north of Lake Cook Road. Coromandel was built in the mid-to-late 1990′s by Optima Inc in an area that occupied by the former Sara Lee plant. With more than 400 condominiums, townhomes and manor homes, the community is beautifully landscaped on 35 acres within easy walking distance of downtown Deerfield. Retail shops, a Whole Foods grocery, banking, and numerous restaurants are all easily accessible to the community which has a single driving entrance off Kates Road at the south end of the property.
